1. INTRODUCTION /with use of documentary films, showing various working and creating possibilities in glass sculpting & decorating process/. 2. Drawing and preparing designs for future sculptures. 3. Molds making, cleaning and drying. Preparing of glass material for molds. 4. Kiln work, heating and melting glass and cooling process. 5. After successful glasswork in kiln, cleaning glass from molds. 6. Grinding and sandblasting of the glass sculptures. 7. Polishing of the glass sculptures. 8. Exhibition of the finished glass sculptures

Lubomir Ferko

Born 1956 in Bratislava. 1971-75 studied at the  Secondary school of Applied Arts in Bratislava.  1975-81 studied at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade,Yugoslavia, department of large scale sculpture. 1980-81 studied at the Kunsthochschule in Cologne, West Germany. 1982-83  teaching on Department of Art Education of the Faculty  of Education in Nitra, Slovakia. 1989 - 1990 Creative and work stay in  the USA. Lectured at Moses Brown and Central High School, Providence, Rhode Island. 1997 and 2008 creative and work stay at  Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. 1997 lectured at Mimar Sinan University,Istanbul, Turkey and  at Cairo University Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt.PRIZES:1980 Academy of Arts Prize, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, 1983 Honourable Mention , International Exhibition of  costume jewellery, Jablonec n,Nysou,Czech Republic.  1987 Slovak Fine Arts Fund Prize , Exhibition of Park Sculpture, Piešťany, Slovakia.
