Enamel I Beginner

The class will cover the basics of enameling technique: preparing the copper pieces, sgrafitto, sifting, stencil work and cloisonne. Students will learn how to enamel colored glass powder onto copper. During two days, all participants will have the chance to make little enamel bowls, small wall pieces and jewelry. Do not forget to bring a clean bottle with you and be prepared for a surprise....

Day 1: Students will prepare the copper pieces, clean and sift the glass powder

Day 2: Students will apply color layers and do the sgrafitto work.
