Participants will learn advanced techniques of beadmaking including dot, hollow, landscape, ring, flower with soda and enamel. Participants will also focus on using silver foils and dicroic glasses. Participants may also make their own jewelry designs bringing beads they made together . Do not forget to bring a cleaned bottle and be prepared for a surprise...

Gaye Döşer


Gaye Döşer was born in Istanbul. She attended workshops on mineorology (natural stones, crystal forms, symettry in crystal, crystal axes and parametres) in Chemistry Department, Yıldız Technical University. Gaye Döşer began making designs with silver and semiprecious minerals in 1993. She worked as the editor in jewelry magazines and prepared a training set including 24 books and 12 CDs of beading and jewellery designs. She met with the glass art world in 2002 through classes by beadmaking artists Janhein Van Stiphout, Michaela M.Möller and metalsmith artist Mary Chuduk at The Glass Furnace. Dö?er has been teaching beadmaking for three years. The artist believes that the glass beads should be designed in such a way that they should display the natural energy inside us. Gaye Dö?er is making designs for traditional bead shops as well as boutique jewellery showrooms. Gaye Dö?er is now making bead and enamel designs at her own studio Beadycats Art Studio and raising new students.
